This philatelic product marks the end of an era - the retirement of Managing Director Mr Graeme John. During his 16 years at the helm of Australia Post, he took an active interest in the stamp issue program and approved every stamp design released.

In 1997, Mr John initiated the Australia Post Australian Legends Award and accompanying stamp series. This marked a signifi cant change to the stamp program and policy, and the 2010 issue of this annual series was the last he reviewed and approved for production.

To commemorate this milestone, we asked him to sign a "fi nal art" proof. We have produced a tri-fold pack to house a facsimilie edition of the proof and an imperforate sheetlet of the 12 stamps comprising the 2010 Australia Post Australian Legends stamp issue.
