A Summer of Cricket - Specialist Cricket Collectors
The letter on the right is from the office of The Prime Minister, dated 14 February 1983 to Mr Noel Almeida responding to his recommendation for issue of a commemorative stamp to honour Sir Donald Bradman.
Mr Almeida, a specialist cricket collector, attached to the letter the Australian Legends stamps issued of Sir Donald Bradman on 23 January, 1997 and wrote over them ‘Ask and your shall receive, sooner or later.'
