Cross Stitched Stamps

Mark Hunting and Brenda Hunting have combined two of their hobbies and created this great set of ten cross stitched postage stamps.

The original cross stitch patters were developed by Mark Hunting in 2001 and the finished design presents over 200 hours of fine needlework.

The set of stamps, Australian Animals - Butterflies,  were originally released on 15 June 1983 and designed by Charles McCubbin. *The 30c stamp, Chlorinda Hairstreak, was released separately on 24 October1983.
